“The Ruden Report Rally” April 2024 Fundraiser

Brandmark Studios partnered with The Ruden Report to launch the Ruden Report Rally — a month-long digital fundraising campaign aimed at raising awareness and community support for independent sports journalism. 

To help drive donations and visibility, we executed a targeted multi-channel strategy including a newsletter campaign, a homepage popup, a digital ad on the site, Instagram graphics (feed + stories), and the design of a dedicated landing page. Every element worked together to reinforce the campaign’s message: support quality coverage and help fuel the future of The Ruden Report.

Bringing the Brand to Life Through Visual Design

To help The Ruden Report strengthen its visual identity and grow its audience, we created a suite of custom graphics that enhance the storytelling across platforms. This included bold, branded podcast covers for both Nothing But Net, the site’s basketball-focused podcast, and The Ruden Report Podcast, reinforcing consistency and recognition across streaming platforms.

We also developed a series of social media templates, from gameday posts to IG Story graphics with swipe-up links, making it easy to promote real-time coverage and drive traffic to articles. On the website, custom thumbnail designs were created for features like Post Game Interviews and Game Highlights, helping improve engagement while giving the site a more polished and professional feel.

Branding – Logo Design

We developed a bold new logo for The Ruden Report, cleverly incorporating two R’s — reflecting the brand name — enclosed within a circular form that suggests dynamic movement and fast, seamless communication.

The design emphasizes “Ruden” in black, allowing it to stand out and propel Ruden as the brand. The result is a strong, recognizable brand mark that works seamlessly across both digital and print platforms.

As with every logo we create, we provided comprehensive logo guidelines. This included details on file formats and appropriate usage, the official brand color palette, and three approved logo color variations to ensure flexibility across various applications.
